1. Payment Conditions

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

• The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the rental start date.

• Prices are displayed and charged in Euros (€). Any exchange rate or bank fees are determined by the cardholder’s bank.

• Bikes and equipment will not be released unless the full rental amount has been paid in advance.

2. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or another confirmed communication channel.

Time of Cancellation Refund Policy:

• More than 30 days before rental start: Full refund

• Between 30 and 14 days before rental start: Deposit (50%) is non-refundable

• Less than 14 days before rental start: No refund

• After rental start date: No refund

The deposit is considered a reservation guarantee and compensates for blocked availability, preparation, and logistics.

3. Changes & No-Shows

• Date or schedule changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

• Failure to collect the bike at the agreed time (no-show) will be treated as a late cancellation and no refund will be issued.

4. Cancellation by Catalina Bike Rental

In the unlikely event that Catalina Bike Rental must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (mechanical issues, force majeure, or safety reasons), the client will receive:

• A full refund, or

• The option to reschedule the rental, subject to availability.

No further compensation or liability may be claimed.

5. Force Majeure

Catalina Bike Rental is not responsible for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
